About Us
United Fleet Services was developed to offer Small to Medium Independent Operators a way to drastically improve their OH&S & CHAIN of RESPONSIBILIY Compliance equal to that of the bigger Corporate Companies...But at a fraction of the price!
We offer your business an opportunity to firstly realise your safety and legal obligations in the language you understand. We then collect all your business details and create a personalised system that is ‘Corporate Quality’ but at a small business price.
Our vision is to present Members of United Fleet Services as Low Risk operators by having appropriate Business Systems and Protocols in place to ensure they operate with: Safe Plant, Safe Processes and Safe People Being a Lower Risk Operator becomes very attractive to Suppliers, Insurers and Corporate Clients
Basically, We run the system in partnership with you to ensure that what we say what the business will do is being done and documented.
Training is also an integral part of bringing the business along the journey of compliance, once owners and drivers understand their responsibilities it becomes much simpler to do the right thing.

Plant Risk Assessments
Plant risk assessments allow you to better understand the potential hazards present in your vehicle/s. Conducting such comprehensive plant risk assessment paves the way to the creation of a safer working environment.
Many larger companies demand a vehicle to be Risk Assessed as part of the On-Boarding process.
Business Policies
Your Business will be guided and directed by the Business Policies. which include: OH&S, CoR, Drugs & Alcohol, Speed Compliance, Driver Distraction, Fatigue, Mass & Dimension, Mobile Phone, Vehicle Standards, Seat Belts and Environmental Policy.
Drivers Log Sheets
The Drivers Daily Log Sheet records the critical information required by Law: - Pre-Start Checks - Driver Health Declaration - Fatigue Records/Rest Breaks - Daily Work Hours - End of Shift Checks - Fuelling Information etc.

DRIVER/BUSINESS TRAINING
The OH&S Act 2004 clearly states that you, and any driver you have working for you, must be Trained and Communicated to via Toolbox Meetings in the safe operation of your business on a regular basis. At United Fleet Services We have the right training packages and Toolbox meeting schedules ready for your business to comply with the act which is being enforced and checked by Worksafe officers on a much more rigorous basis. Basically, they can knock on your door any day and anytime!
INTENAL/EXTERNAL AUDITS
Your Business is subject to regular INTERNAL and EXTERNAL audits by United Fleet Services, as required by law, to monitor the level of compliance within the Business System. All Audits are included in your monthly membership fee except for the once yearly ‘Full Yearly Audit’
SAFETY POSTERS
Chain of Responsibility posters are displayed at the workplace for all Owners/Drivers as a visual reminder before they start their shifts
INCIDENT/ACCIDENT INVESTIGATIONS
Should you, or your driver be involved in an Accident we will assist with the investigation and documenting the incident for your Insurance and Statutory reports needed for Worksafe, EPA or NHVR investigations.

ROADSIDE ASSIST AND EMERGENCY RESPONSE COVER
Your business will be covered by Roadside Assist and Emergency Response cover meaning the vehicle, should it get into any trouble or break down roadside, will be quickly attended to by our partner organization to give support, manage any injuries, control the scene and arrange for salvage of the vehicle away from the incident area as soon as it safe and legal to do so. A full and concise report of the incident/accident and steps taken throughout the salvage process is documented and passed on to the business owner for insurance and investigation purposes.
This is Currently under negotiation and once approved it will be passed on to your business as part of your monthly truck membership cost.
SUBSTABTIALLY DISCOUNTED BUSINESS INSURANCE COSTS Another major benefit of running a safe and compliant business is when you are recognized as a “LOWER RISK’ operator your cost of insurance reduces and should not be the same as that of Higher Risk operators. I am currently negotiating with a partnering broker to produce cheaper insurance for our members once we can prove that they are running their businesses in a much more compliant and safe manner. It doesn't matter which Insurance Company you're with now... we can almost guarantee much cheaper insurance premiums once our negotiations are over and completed.
